25 kg silver stolen from jewelery shop

Patancheru: About 25 kg of silver was stolen from a jewelry shop in Isnapur village of Patancherumandal on Thursday night. According to police, owner of Sri Ganesh Jewelry shop Mahender closed his shop on Wednesday night and did not open the shop on Thursday as it was polling day.
The shop owner of the neighbouring jewelry shop found a hole in the wall of the shop and reported it to Mahender on the Thursday evening. On opening the shop, it was found that 25 kg of silver was stolen from the shop, but strangely golden ornaments remained untouched. Mahender registered a complaint and an investigation has been initiated.
