Letter against minister Cheluvarayaswamy: CM Siddaramaiah instructed for police investigation
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the police have been instructed to investigate the letter written against Agriculture Minister Cheluvarayaswamy.
CID has decided to investigate the letter allegedly written by Mandya district agriculture officials against the agriculture minister. After discussing with the Home Minister, the Chief Minister suggested that the case be handed over to the CID for investigation.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, after paying tribute to former Chief Minister late S Nijalingappa on his death anniversary. Responding to former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's tweet that the letter is genuine, Ashok Kumar, Joint Director of the Agriculture Department of Ramanagara, complained that the letter was not written by the officials. He said that the police have been instructed to investigate and reveal the truth.
Investigate to know the authenticity
Responding to the reporter's question that the BBMP contractors are meeting the governor by stopping work because they are not releasing the grant. He said, the work has not been stopped. They are meeting the governor to have an investigation. Investigation is being done to find out the truth about the works in BBMP, BDA. He said that a committee has been formed in this regard and is investigating.
Udupi case: To CID for higher investigation
It was ordered yesterday that the Udupi video case was handed over to the CID. A DySP level officer was directed to investigate. But the CID has been tasked to conduct an even higher-level investigation.
Reacting to the fact that MLA Yash Pal Suvarna tried to cover up the case, he said even if the case is given to CID, they say don't. He questioned are the cases given to CID during BJP time were closed.
