BJP bent on ruining farmers, alleges AAP
Bengaluru: Aam Aadmi Party Bangalore president Mohan Dasari accused the BJP government at the Centre of trying to ruin the lives of farmers through three agricultural laws it enacted.
Speaking during a protest at Maurya Circle, he said "the companies will initially lease the land of farmers and then slowly take it away completely from them". The protesting AAP workers demanded immediate withdrawal of the "anti –farmer". Describing BJP as unpatriotic, AAP leaders said the government at the Centre was serving the interest of Ambani and Adani groups.
"I strongly condemn house-arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to prevent him from visiting the farmers staging protests in Delhi. The Narendra Modi-led government is following a dictatorial policy. The State government led by Yeddyurappa is also in the same league as Modi government," Mohan added.
AAP State co-convener Vijay Sharma, Bangalore unit vice president Suresh Rathod, State political activities head Lakshmikant Rao, Bangalore political activities head Phaniraj S V, State chief spokesperson Sharat Khadri and hundreds of volunteers participated in the protest.
