Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was heading for a landslide victory and leading by around 31,000 votes from Gorakhpur Urban seat on Thursday. The Etawah Assembly constituency witnessed an intense battle between BJP's Sarita and Sarvesh Kumar Shakya of SP. As per the EC trends, Sarita is ahead with 2409 votes.
The BJP and its alliance partners are leading in 265 Assembly constituencies, as per the trends available at 1:38 pm. The saffron party's nearest rival Samajwadi Party+ is leading in 133 seats. The BSP and the Congress were leading in two seats each.
Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) leader Jagdish Narayan is leading against rival BJP candidate Harendra Prasad Singh. Narayan is leading with 6444 votes.
Uttar Pradesh Power Minister Shrikant Sharma is way ahead of his nearest rival Congress candidate Pradesh Mathur. The vote margin between the two leaders is 34581, as per EC trends at 12:55 pm.
SP leader Vijay Bahadur Yadav is leading against BJP's Bipin Singh with 2253 votes from the Gorakhpur Rural constituency. AIMIM's Mohd. Islam, Congress leader Devendra Nishad and BSP candidate Dara Singh Nishad are also in the contest.
Ashu Malik of Samajwadi Party (SP) is leading against Jagpal Singh of BJP. Ajab Singh Chaudhary of BSP, Congress candidate Sandeep Kumar also contested the UP election 2022 from the Saharanpur Assembly constituency.
Samajwadi Party candidate Shailendar Singh Gangwar is leading with 6827 votes against his nearest rival BJP candidate Sanjay Singh Gangwar.
