ISRO chief Sreedahara Somanath on Thursday has inaugurated new solid motor rocket facilities at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR). 5 key facilities for solid propellant mixing, casting, machining, etc. was opened in the 1st phase yesterday. 29 primary & 16 auxiliary facilities will be established overall to double the solid propellant processing capacity of ISRO.
