Everything is God's love, nothing is exempt

As a cancer survivor of 40 years, I know that trust is the most important aspect of each healing crisis. I recognise that the path of disease is a sacred one, it shows us who we are at this moment in time. Cancer teaches me that everything is God's Love, nothing is exempt from it.

My cancer is love! My pain is love! My despair is love! My healing is love! Ultimately, the freedom I have gained from all challenges in this life, is love! Each one of us possesses innate power to heal, to love and to be whole.

We do not need a college education or intense spiritual discipline, or 24/7 holistic practices to be common-sensical, or to learn the wholesome way of our sacred humanity.

The most critical obstacle in the way of healing is the lack of knowing of our true sublime nature. To face the truth of who we are and where we are in our life's journey, we must recall karma.

Our karmas are continually playing out in different stages of our lives, with multiple layers of expressions. Success is a karma, disease is a karma, joy is a karma, sadness is a karma.

We each one of us have karma to expend, and in the case of disease we find a profound way of cleansing and expending this karma. It is neither a good thing, nor a bad thing, it simply is. What "is" is always "Isvara". The acceptance of what "is" is critical to our progress in healing, living and loving.

Whatever acts of disharmony, disease, violence, hatred, and greed we perceive around us, as soon as we call upon the immutable love that is always in full perfection, we become One with Love.

As soon as we are able to voice the truth of our innermost selves, and say, "Enough!", "I do not want to hurt anymore!", "I strive to live a peaceful life". "I am happy and fulfilled!" we attract what we need to progressively move forward. The benevolent grace of the universe comes to our aid.

Trusting this truth is what faith is about. On the heels of faith, comes the absolute cure: LOVE. This love is a knowing that everything in our universe, our lives is created from the perfection of Isvara.

EVERYTHING, including the perceptible scars, hatred, oppression, violence, disease......all is Isvara. All is love. The people who may be instrumental in ferrying these difficult experiences to us are not monsters or evil beings, but divine souls to whom we owe gratitude and the full expression of Love.

In the same way, accepting our disease as the great power of love within, we can more effortlessly allow disease and its companion karma to dissipate, dissolve. Everything I touch reveals this love.

Everything that happens to me reveals this love, when I become awakened to Love, everything is revealed in my awareness.

When we learn to view illness as a karma that is unfolding in order to shed its stinging vestiges, its tenacious grip on the progress of life, we see that healing is an ongoing journey that requires the understanding of love.
