On February 14, 2025, Regents celebrated Valentine's Day theme with an extraordinary event, “The Valentine Culinary Buffet: When Passion Meets the Celebrations”. The college transformed its ambience into a memorable retreat, adorned in a sophisticated red and white theme. The color red, symbolizing passion and love. The white, representing vibrant purity, create a graceful and elegant dining experience.
A Culinary Extravaganza
The Valentine Culinary Buffet featured a lavish spread designed to delight every palate done by 60 budding chefs who showcased their culinary expertise and creativity. The menu was categorized into five major sections—Cold Cuts, Pastry Palate, Continental Cuisine, Indian Cuisine, and Desserts—each boasting 60 exquisite dishes which included:
● Cold Cuts: Smoked Salmon Roses, Heart-shaped Chicken Galantine, Beetroot-infused Pâté en Croûte
● Pastry Palate: Strawberry Mille-Feuille, Raspberry Mousse Domes, Dark Chocolate Truffle Hearts
● Continental Cuisine: Love-infused Stuffed Chicken Roulade, Red Wine Braised Lamb Shanks, Baked Lobster Thermidor and Roasted Chicken (LIVE)
● Indian Cuisine: Gulabi Paneer Tikka, Royal Dum Biryani, Saffron-infused Butter Chicken
● Desserts: Rose Petal Macarons, Velvet Heart Cheesecake, Pomegranate Panna Cotta

The event, meticulously organized by the passionate culinary aspirants from the Diploma in Food Production, exhibited a spectacular fine dining experience for esteemed guests, including Mr. Parag Shah (General Manager, Mercure), Mr. Srinivas Indukuri (Director of Human Resources, Taj Krishna & Taj Deccan), Ms. Sonia D’Cuna (HR Manager, The Leela), and Mr. Chandrakanth Reddy (Director of Sales, Mercure).
They were spellbound by the eye-appealing recipes. They acclaimed the students' unique ideas and the sumptuous buffet display, likening them to those found in a luxury hotel. They also noted that their globally expanding hotel chain offers excellent job opportunities for talented students like these.
Speaking on the occasion, Regency College Principal P. Ramesh Kumar Reddy emphasized the importance of hands-on experience in hospitality education.
