Ramadan the pious month is all set to bid adieu soon! The Last Friday of Ramadan widely known as 'Jummat-ul-Vida', the word Alvida literally means 'good-bye'. An exceptional day that brings bountiful blessings, endless mercy and salvation for the believers.

The Prophet Mohammad said that 'Jummat-ul-Vida' is more blessed than any other days because anyone who spends this day in worship will receive protection from Allah for the whole week. The devotees believe that angels enter the Mosque to listen to the Imams recitations of the Friday Prayers. The early goers to the Masjid will be privileged with the reward. The Prophet Mohammad said that Allah Almighty forgives the sins committed between two Fridays of the one who performs his Friday Prayers regularly.

Without any shade of a doubt, the Muslims believe that the Last Friday of Ramadan is the day for the acceptance of duas (prayers). So it is important that on this holy day heartfelt prayers are offered for the blessings and rewards. It is the sign of majesty and prominence for the faithful. It is an utmost illustration of wonder and magnificence.

In connection with the Jummat'al-Wida prayers in Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad and Jame-e-Masjid, Secunderabad traffic restrictions will be imposed in some parts of the city. In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic the main roads between Charminar and Madina, Charminar and Murgi Chowk, Charminar and Moghalpura Kaman will be closed for all type of vehicular traffic from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
