Ayudha puja performed at Mysuru Palace

Mysuru: Ayudha puja was performed at Mysuru Palace in keeping with the age-old tradition on Thursday.
The members of erstwhile royal family did puja to weapons which were used by their ancestors in wars. The rituals started early morning at 5:30 am. Weapons were taken to Kodi Someshwara temple within the palace precincts for puja.
Scion of erstwhile royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar performedpuja to weapns, Pattada Aane (Royal Elephant), Pattada Kudure (Royal Horse), Pattada Hasu (Royal Cow) and Pattada Onte (Royal Camel) between at Kannadi Thotti.
