Students advised on methods to attain success
Hyderabad: 'After joining MBA, I wanted to try what I learned, l and was encouraged to become an entrepreneur with a start- up "Foxy Advertisements" last year- end.
It has already touched turnover of Rs 70 lakh and plans have been chalked out to reach 3 crores during this year', highlighted Santosh, an MBA First year Student, who is going into the second year, about his entrepreneurial journey.
He also explained the reasons for choosing to do MBA, which was due to numerous career and life opportunities, on the occasion of MBA first year students' farewell party to MBA seniors on Monday afternoon in the Tagarapuvalasa campus of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET).
AIET Principal Dr SNV Ganesh, who inaugurated the MBA farewell party, stated that if students are regular and punctual, they would reap benefits such as latest learning as well as perfect placements, or else they lag far behind in reaching their set goals, for which every student should strive hard to achieve with all the care, concern, and commitment since it is concerning them.
AIET Head of MBA Department Prof K V Satya Prakash, who presided, mentioned that summer internships to complete real/ live projects are the avenues/ paths for future possible placements, and already there are many offers from Times of India Group, Reliance Retail, Ardee Group, etc. apart from the usual Hindustan Shipyard Limited, HPCL., BHEL., APSRTC., Indian Railways, etc., which the MBA first years should avail to be successful in their own chosen careers as well as lives.
While MBA First year Students Rohini and Santosh did the anchoring job well, Ramakrishna, Santoshi and other MBA students, both from first as well as second years enthralled all the students with dances, singing, skits, etc. thereby showcasing latent talent other than just in subjects and oratory. All felt that students' activities like farewell or freshers' parties provide hands- on training on all requisite planning, organising, staffing, directing/ coordinating and controlling skills learned in MBA.
