Next song is to be released in the next three months, the singer says 'Miyan Bhai Hyderabadi' rap song fame Ruhaan Arshad is back with his latest 'Rubaab'. The 21-year-old Urdu rapper is also known as 'Miyan Bhai'. Rubaab is his fifth song since his journey started in 2017.

Ruhaan uploaded Rubaab on June 25. Within an hour, it had registered over 78,000 views, 17000 likes and about 20000 comments. 'Rubab hai rubab hai Hyderabad ke nawaab miya bhai ki awaaz galli galli zindabad'. The aim is to foster a sense of unity, he adds. The song acquires attention from all the segments of the society for music, lyrics and representation of specific Hyderabadi culture. The song also highlights the unity among Hindu and Muslim population in the State.

How did it all begin? When he was pursuing Intermediate he used to do dubbing for Bollywood songs. Ruhaan heard a song called 'Hyderabadi Kiraak gana' by the city-based group Deeth Rap. "I realised that my lyrics more or less resembled this song and it struck me that I should come out with a video of my own too" said Ruhaan.

He did his schooling from Tagore High School, Gandhi Nagar, Hyderabad. Now he is pursuing degree in Pratibha Degree College, Kukatpally.

When Miyan Bhai was launched in November 2018, it had made unprecedented waves on social media. "I am receiving good response from Turkey, Pakistan, Dubai, Mumbai, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa. I've been swamped with offers for stage performances at Colleges festivals since then," he said.

He said he shot Rubaab with only Rs 40,000 that he had saved over the years. "It took me four days to complete the song. I am happy that I could do my bit to popularise Hyderabadi lifestyle and culture. I wish to earn my name as a rapper by developing my own Hyderabadi style." he said adding that he's planning to release his next untitled song in three months.
