Hyderabad: Successful icons of India come alive on the school stage

Hyderabad: The annual cultural fest "Razmatazz" 2019-2020 of Glendale Academy was held at their new campus in the Financial District and it showcased the theme "Spectrum of Leadership". The new campus and the Day One of the cultural fest was inaugurated by Sports Icon PV Sindhu amidst a large gathering of faculty, students and parents.

Students portrayed different personalities from different walks of life who excelled in their chosen fields and made an impact on the world around them! The personalities portrayed ranged from Sudha Murthy to Mary Kom to Dr. APJ Kalam and Dr. Bharadwaj-covering a wide spectrum from different facets of life! The primary students enacted the story of Savitribai Phule an Indian social reformer, educationist and poet from Maharashtra. This was followed by a performance which was dedicated to Actor Aamir Khan. Young students performed on the concept of the movie "Taare Zameen Par", which was very enthralling and motivating.. All the cultural activities that were conducted as a part of two-day fest "Razmatazz" were very much innovative and creative in nature. They were made in such a manner that the qualities of great personalities were conveyed in a simple manner. The aim of these different activities and performing arts is to help students develop the 5C's of the 21st century-Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical Thinking and Character.

Glendale International School is putting tremendous amount of effort to nurture the young minds so that they will be proficient enough to manifest great things once they enter the real world. Parents were happy seeing their children performing on the theme of leadership which inspires everyone to follow the footsteps of legends.
