Hyderabad: New courses from NALSAR

Hyderabad: The NALSAR University of Law has announced starting of new postgraduate and postgraduate diploma courses for the the 2019-20 academic year through Distance Education mode.

NALSAR Registrar Prof V Balakista Reddy said that a two-year MA course in Security and Defence Laws is being offered to keep in view of its growing relevance and the need for expertise in this field.

Similarly, one-year postgraduate diploma courses in the laws related to Animal Protection, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Family Dispute Resolution, Advanced Maritime Laws, Criminal Law and Forensic Science, and Financial Services and Legislations are also offered from the current 2019-20 academic year, he said.

In addition, the University has been conducting courses in other subject areas for professionals and students to acquire specialised skills in different sectors with law combinations. They include patent laws, cyber laws, media laws and international humanitarian law aviation law and transport management.

Any graduate can apply for the courses and the online application process has commenced. The last date for applying the courses is July 1, 2019, he said.
