RRB says all geared up for recruitment tests

Secunderabad: Indian Railways through its 21 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is organising mega recruitment drive in three phases starting from December 15. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Secunderabad, has made all arrangements to conduct Computer based Tests (CBTs) for various posts notified.

"In the first phase of schedule from December 15 to 18, exams will be held for 95 posts of ministerial and isolated categories in 18 centers spread over both the Telugu States. As many as 6,138 candidates have applied for these posts and candidates can download call letters from the official website of RRB.

In the second phase, the CBT for non-technical popular categories (NTPC) will be held for 11,38,619 applicants as against 3,234 vacancies notified. CBT exams for these NTPC categories are scheduled from December 28 onwards and may extend up to March-end, in 133 centers located in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana States," said a senior officer of SCR.

CBTs will be conducted in fair and transparent manner. All the selections will be made purely on merit. Candidates are advised to visit only official websites and not trust fake websites. They are cautioned to beware of job racketeers.

In order to safeguard the health of candidates and other personnel involved in the conduct of CBT during Covid-19 scenario, all relevant protocols / guidelines will be strictly complied and followed. The latest instructions, guidelines and orders issued by the Central and respective State governments concerning COVID 19 would be followed and ensured, added the official.
