Despite the dramatic emphasis on the eyes and lips that we see on the fashion ramps, women prefer to limit this for the evenings and the parties, while they go about their regular day with a few essentials in their handbag

Make-up is an essential part of a modern woman's life and when it comes to the matter of turning out well, everyone is very conscious about it.

And once you get out of the house with your make up on, and a little touch of blush on the cheeks and lipstick that matches your skin tone, you are ready to take on the world.

There is no harm in carrying a lipstick in your bag and dabbing it whenever you would want to be ready for a meeting, party or a meet up with your friends.

Overdoing make-up is also one of the prime concerns one should be aware of; looking elegant and beautiful is the main motive.

Being minimal is what is preferred by most and so do a few celebs from the film industry, who shared their make-up essentials and preferred looks.

Most of the celebs in the film industry spend most of the time with make-up on and feel more comfortable when they are without make-up.

Being minimal is what most of the celebs love to be on a regular day.

In a recent interview Shraddha Kapoor shares her secret, "Most of the time we have make-up on because of our field of work, so, at other times, I prefer to let my skin be mostly make-up free.

My essentials include Sun shield and lip juicers. A sunscreen is something that I never step out without applying. My beauty secret is more about following the right diet and beauty regimen.

A night care and day cream that suits your skin is a must. Rest, drink a lot of water.

Keep your skin hydrated and educate yourself about the products you use to find the best fit for your skin as well as mind so that it stays happy as the right products makes your skin glow."

Former Miss Universe Lara Datta had made an effective statement in an interview regarding being minimal with make-up products and how she uses it, "I use a lot less makeup than I used to.

I want to stop loading my skin with products just because they are out in the market. My skincare has increased, and my makeup has gone down."

Sonakshi Sinha the actress who has been representing beauty products as brand ambassador gives her tips, "For that perfect, flawless skin finish, I love a good setting powder.

Powder is a skin superhero. It brightens dull skin, hydrates, blurs fine lines and does so much more."
