What Exactly Happened To Mahesh Babu Film With Vamsi Paidipally?

Mahesh's collaboration with Vamsi Paidipally isn't a new one. The director gave the Telugu superstar one of his most memorable movies. Yes. Maharshi, it was! The duo joined hands to make a movie on farmer suicides and the plight of the agricultural labourers in India.

Both the actor and the director received immense appreciation for their work in the movie from both fans and critics alike.

Now, soon after the movie's success, Mahesh Babu went ga ga over what a fine filmmaker Vamsi was, so much so that the actor even announced that he was going to work with Vamsi again.

Until recently, Mahesh kept telling the world that his next would be with Vamshi Paidipally. But in the latest development, we hear that the movie has been shelved as Mahesh didn't like the script much. Now, while everyone is buying this theory, sources close to the duo say the script had nothing to do with Mahesh rejecting the Vamshi movie. The real reason is something else.

So, what's the real reason? As per a source in the know, there was an issue over remuneration for the movie and hence the movie didn't progress.

A film industry tracker rubbishes this claim saying that Mahesh is not an actor to let go of a movie just because of a few bucks.

No matter what the reason, the Vamshi Paidipally-Mahesh Babu movie which could have created another box office magic is not going to happen.
