The news of megastar Chiranjeevi set to showcase his dancing skills once again in his upcoming commercial film with Koratala Siva(after playing a sobre role in 'Sye Raa…'), is set to trigger a storm among mega fans and viewers as well.

"Chiru is original dancing star of Telugu cinema and one of the top dancers in Indian cinema. His intricate moves and grace endeared himself to masses and classes alike.

He proved that his elegance is still intact with two racy numbers in 'Khaidi No 150' and announced that he is going to give new-age stars a run for their money in dancing after 8-year break," says director Gunasekar, who made films like 'Chudalani Undi' with him.

Among new-age stars Jr NTR and Allu Arjun are ahead of their arch rivals in dancing, while Ram Charan and Sai Dharam also proved their mettle in some foot-tapping numbers.

However, these dancing stars have to learn new dancing styles to match B-town stars and also to connect with new-age Telugu viewers, who understand dancing styles better, unlike in the past.

"Beeboing, contemporary, salsa and Bollywood style besides old-fashioned folk are quite popular with T-town stars. Allu Arjun is practicing hard to change his moves and style and even jr NTR will like to explore new movements," says choreographer Prem Rakshit.

In fact, Chiranjeevi's interest for dancing helped him to spot dancing talent in youngsters and introduced Prabhu Deva and Lawrence as choreographers in T-town, who later became sought-after-directors.

"Chiranjeevi's veena movement in "Daidayidamma" song in `Indra' and intricate break dancing in `Abhibi Abhibi' song in 'Hitler' and "Kodithe kotali ra six kotali' in 'Tagore' are like tip of an iceberg of his massive dancing prowess" says choreographer Kevin, who also praises Jr NTR and Allu Arjun for their ease in performing back-breaking steps.

"Jr NTR proved his folk dancing abilities in 'Simhadri,' break dance in 'Yamadonga' and graceful moves in 'Nanaku Prematho.'

Allu Arjun has performed the mostly difficult dances in T-town in films like 'Arya 2,' Desamuduru,' 'Badrinath' and recent 'Sarrainodu' to become a dancing sensation.

Ram Charan performed tough movements from 'Chirutha' to 'Dhruva'. Sai Dharam also has flair for dancing."

No doubt, Allu Arjun is bound to rock in 'Ala Vaikuntapuramlo' and Jr NTR will hit dance floor once again with a vegeance in a potbolier.

With growing demand for dancing stars, even Mahesh Babu and Prabhas impressed their fans and viewers with their stylised moves in films like 'Maharshi' and 'Saaho' respectively.

"Dancing has become more of a necessity than choice in commercial movies, so more dancing stars will emerge," concludes Rakshit.
