SP Balasubrahmanyam's Chocolate Statue in Puducherry

A shop on the mission Street in Puducherry of Tamil Nadu has erected a chocolate statue of famous late South Indian singer S P Balasubramanyam. This statue which is about 5.8 feet high weighs about 339 kgs.

To attract more customers during Christmas and New Year, the shop owner has kept this chocolate as an exhibition. This idol is prepared completely with chocolate and Rajendran who prepared this says that this chocolate statue will be kept for exhibition until January 3. It may be recalled that earlier also this shop had exhibited chocolate statues of A P J Abdul Kalam, Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, and some celebrity cricket stars.

It is a known fact that SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away after being infected by Coronavirus. The singer who has rendered thousands of songs in several Indian languages has left a huge void in the music world after his demise.
