Keerthy Suresh film also on OTT platform

While battles are raging whether the bypassing of cinema theatre circuits in favour of the Web would be a good step in this crisis-ridden time, the ' Mahanati' star Keerthy Suresh had already signed up a Karthik Subbaraj venture which was only for the OTT genre.

Titled ' Penguin' and to be released in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu this film is now one among the list of films Amazon Prime has bought for release till June end.

The web platform has come out with a press release detailing all the flicks it is coming up with, which includes the Amitabh-Ayushmann starrer' 'Gulabo Sitabo'. While Jyothika's ' Ponmagal Vandhal' is due on May 29, the Keerthy film is out on June 19 as a world premiere.

The coronavirus has changed the film industry for sure and now it is to be seen how the big guns of the industry re-orient their plans to face the future.
