I'm ready to play role with potential: Rahman
Late 80's and 90's households know Rahman as one of the few actors with captivating screen presence. He became a chocolate boy hero and did boy-next-door roles to win female affection that did help him draw a long career.
He survived ups and downs through 2000's and with Billa in 2007, he announced his re-entry into the Tamil Cinema and with remake of it, in Telugu too. He appeared in Oosaravelli, Simha next to solidify his place as the supporting actor.
He became busy in Malayalam and Tamil Cinema so much that he rarely got chances to do Telugu films. His Dhruvangal Pathinaru from Tamil released as D-16 in Telugu and became a hit. As he completed 30 years in Industry, he is more wise in selecting his scripts, these days.
After some gap, he chose Havish's Seven to make a comeback in Telugu. He revealed that the movie has a good investigative drama as core and it is a thriller too. He said that it will have audience at the edge of their seats for sure.
He also said that he is ready to do any film that offers him a role with great potential. On 7th June, along with Seven in Telugu he has Virus releasing in Tamil too. Seven is directed by Cinematographer turned director, Nizar Shafi and produced by Kiran Studios & Ramesh Varma off Ramesh Varma productions.
