I wanted to bring unsung hero on screen: Chiru
Megastar Chiranjeevi said the story of 'Sye Raa...' has been in his mind for last 10 years but it took shape only now. "Initially, I wanted to play the revered role of 'Bhagat Singh but it did not happen.
In fact, 10 years ago, I heard this inspiring story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Paruchuri Bros. Frankly, I didn't know much him at that point of time but got to know him over a period of time.
I resolved to bring the great story of an unsung hero on screen. I also could fulfill my long-time dream of playing a freedom fighter," he said.
Chiru also said that 'Sye Raa..' will connect with the young viewers and youngsters of this country will understand the importance of our national anthem and feel proud about it after watching this patriotic film.
He also said that 'Sye Raa' was possible only because of Rajamouli and his 'Baahubali' franchise. "Rajamouli deserves all the applause as he inspired us to dream and dare to invest so much on this film."
In his speech Pawan Kalyan said, "I am fortunate to be here. I speak my heart out with my brother because first I am his fan. I got this fan following because of him.
I wanted to shoot myself after securing poor marks in Intermediate exams but Chiru gave me confidence to live my life.
He is man with good heart and doesn't talk ill about others. Inspiring stories like 'Sye Raa...' give us lot of lessons." he adds.
