Aranya gets release date!

Rana Daggubati's much-awaited film Aranya is due for a release for more than one year. When the film was getting ready for a release, the lockdown happened last year and the film unit decided to wait until the theatres get reopened. Now, with the theatres running with fifty per cent occupancy in all the country, the film unit wants to release the movie. However, the film unit decided not to opt for a release during Sankranthi but decided to release it in March last week.

The film unit announced that Aranya will have a release on March 26th. There is a curiosity around this release date. Apparently, Rana's father Suresh Babu suggested this date to the film unit. Already, there are a bunch of releases lined up for January. February is not a very great time for new movie releases. So, he suggested that the film releases in March and also expressed a hope that the theatres might be running with packed houses by that time.

Prabhu Solomon is the film's director. Eros International produced the film. Vishnu Vishal makes his debut in Telugu with the film.
