Anushka Shetty is one of the most talented actress of the South Indian Film Industry. She won the millions of hearts with her wonderful performance as Devasena in SS Rajamouli' Baahubali series. Now everyone is showering praises for Anushka Shetty for her bold and daring decision.

According to the latest buzz, Anushka Shetty was approached to play an important role in Mani Ratnam' directorial venture Ponniyin Selvan but she walked out from the project. Buzz is that Anushka Shetty decided to leave the project Ponniyin Selvan after Vairamuthu, the man who playback signer Chinmayi Sripaada alleged of s*xual abuse, joined the project. Aishwarya Rai is on the board to play the female lead in Ponniyin Selvan. And it is being heard that she will make her screen presence in a dual role. Mani Ratnam' film also has Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Keerthy Suresh, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amala Paul, Parthiban and Jyothika.

Mani Ratnam has finalized locations in Tamil Nadu and Thailand, where most of the shooting will take place. AR Rahman will score the music and lyricist Vairamuthu will be penning the lyrics for all the songs of this upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan, which is rejected by Anushka Shetty. On the work side, Anushka Shetty will be next seen in Nishabdham and Sye Raa.
