Jaggesh, Darshan Bat For Farmers

Some sandalwood cinema stars are sending greetings and their wishes to farmers, the bread givers of the country. Kannada actor Jaggesh has said that we cannot find comfort anywhere other than from mother earth while Darshan has said that farmers are real warriors.

These wishes were sent on the occasion of world farmers Day. Actor Jaggesh who had tweeted on the occasion stated that he was the son of the soil adding that his grandfathers and uncles used to be farmers. But fifty percent of youths left this occupation and went to enjoy city life to earn paltry income.

"Farm fields, paddy fields, cattle sheds and manure pits bear a deserted look. Better to grow and eat rather than to buy and eat Jai kisan," thus stated Jaggesh.

Darshan also tweeted on the same lines. "Farmers are real warriors. They convert barren lands into the lands that can grow food with their commitment and hard work. Let us all salute these farmers who put their heart and soul into the mud and work hard," thus has tweeted Darshan.
