The shepherd boy Hanumantha who became a household name in Karnataka for his singing talent has earned lot fan following.

The Kannada TV reality show singer has issued some clarification about the rumours making the rounds related to him that on social media. Hanumantha's life got transformed after he took part in the famous singing reality show Sarigamapa Season 15. He conquered the hearts of music lovers with his lovely rendition of folk songs, and with his pure innocence.

He had appeared in another reality show 'Dance Karnataka" too. It was not uncommon to sight people mobaround him for selfies wherever he went. But of late, a rumour has been making the rounds on social media platforms which suggests that Hanumantha was betrayed by the TV channel and reality show makers. The singer, however, has issued a clarification about this rumour and has stated in a video not to believe in such rumours.

"I have got everything I was supposed to get from Reality shows. I am not betrayed in any way from the channel. I have a good rapport with them. I cannot understand Why these false rumours spread? I don't have problems nor got betrayed. None of the contestants who came was hassled in any way. I had been to Gokarna. I ate cake, and ice cream in a bakery at Kumuta. Everyone spoke to me well and took selfies with me. That's all that happened. I got very much offended after hearing this news. Please do not spread such rumours. Thank you, everyone," thus appealed Hanumantha.

Some people say that reality shows are not natural, and everything is done for TRPs' sake. But regarding the rumours about Hanumantha, some netizens have reprimanded those who spread them, stating that those rumours are meaningless. We hear that Hanumantha has refused an offer to participate in the Kannada reality show 'Bigg Boss'. He has offers to sing in movies also. He had created awareness about the responsibility of voting during elections in the Haveri region.
