VJ Chitra Suicide: Police Retrieve Deleted Audio Files From Actor's Phone
The suicide case of Tamil TV actress VJ Chitra has been grabbing the headlines for one reason or the other with new twists every day.
The Tamil Nadu police arrested her husband Hemanth. Chitra's mother had alleged that Chitra died because of the harassment by her husband. Based on these allegations, the police are said to have carried out investigations from all angles.
VJ Chitra's husband and family members are being questioned regarding dowry harassment. But finally, RDO officers have rubbished the dowry harassment theory. Police have not got any evidence or details about dowry harassment hence investigating officers are said to have ruled out the dowry harassment angle.
But Chitra's mother has said that about 50 sovereigns of gold was given to her daughter. This is new information that police have got and some more details are likely to come out in this regard. Police have questioned friends, colleagues, and serial artist Sharanya who all were last seen with the late actress.
They are also said to have grilled Chitra's manager for two hours. The final investigation of this case has been completed. Divya Sri of RDO has said that the final report of the investigations will be submitted to the court in a day or two. We also hear that police have collected some evidence from phone call records of Chitra. Hemanth is believed to have deleted some Audio files from Chitra's phone. But cyber police have succeeded in retrieving these files. They have suspected the involvement of Chitra's mother in the case.
