Troubles Cleared for Ramyakrishna's Next?

A few days back, director Gautham Menon has released the first look of his upcoming web series Queen. Touted to be the biopic of actress and former Chief Miniter of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha, this show was backed up by streaming platform MX Player. It was also announced that the show will be an 11 episodic series. Ramya Krishna essayed the role of Jaya in the show.

It has now landed in trouble as Jayalalitha's nephew, Deepak Jayakumar issued a press statement and revealed that only director AL Vijay has taken the consent of Jaya's family members to make her biopic with Kangana Ranaut. She added that legal action will be taken on all the other films/web series which are made on Jaya's life. The statement clearly proves that Gautham Menon didn't take any permission to make the series.

But it looks like the issues are sorted out and things are going well where the web series will soon hit the digital space.
