Producer doubles up as villain for his film

Strange things can happen in the cinema world. One such incident has caught the attention of the Tamil media which has reported it promptly. It pertains to a forthcoming film of Arun Vijay, the hero who has repositioned himself in the Chennai film industry and has got noticed for a few hit films in the last few years.

Starring Ritika Singh as a mixed martial artist alongside, Arun Vijay's 'Boxer' raised expectations when its first look was revealed a year ago. Needless to say, the hero had gone through a massive transformation for the role, beefing up his body to suit the character, complete with tattoos etc.

The sports action movie's delay had irked the hero who had expressed his displeasure, wondering all his efforts were futile. Now there is some action seen and surprisingly, the film's producer V Mathiyalagan has stepped in to play the villain. His publicity stills released on social media have pepped up the film's status, say reports.
