Kollywood Singer In Self Quarantine After Malaysia Trip
Coronavirus has spread so fast that countries have been forced to resort to drastic measures to prevent the spread of disease. While the government has made every effort to bring back Indian students who were stranded in various parts of the world (like Italy, China and Iran) hit by the deadly covid19, there still are many number of Indian travellers who went on work or pleasure stranded in various airports across the globe.
After the numbers started climbing up, India strictly imposed a clampdown on landing of foreign flights form select countries. However, now India has banned all internaitonal flights.
Just a few days before Kollywood singer Swagatha was stranded in Malaysia when she realised that flights were not being allowed into India. When all her efforts to reach out to the Indian Embassy went in vain, Swagatha was forced to look for alternatives. She shelled out a small fortune and bought herself a ticket to Kathmandu from where she flew back home in Chennai.
She was screened at the Kathmandu airport and she also got her house disinfected upom her arrival. She is also said to have disposed off clothes she had brought from her Malaysia trip. Currently, the singer is on a self-imposed quarantine.
