IIL launches miticide for chilly crop
Hyderabad: Insecticides (India) Limited, an agrochemicals manufacturing company, on Friday launched 'Kunoichi,' a miticide, invented and developed by Japan-based Nissan Chemical Corporation.
IIL said it has partnered with Nissan Chemical Corporation for marketing their products in India since 2012. Kunoichi has been registered in other countries such as Japan, South Korea, Colombia and Ecuador, it added.
Rajesh Agarwal, Managing Director, Insecticides (India) Ltd, said: "With the launch of Kunoichi, we are bringing one more research-based international technology patented product to the farmers.
The composition of the product is apt for the crops that grow in India like chillies and premium crops such as apple."
Agarwal further said, the infestation of mites is increasing every year due to global warming and has become a major pest in south India on all the crops, especially on chillies.
"Kunoichi provides complete solution that is effective from egg to adult on all species of mites and its effect can be seen within six hours," he added.
