Credai Hyd Property Show 2019 goes east
Hyderabad: Buoyed by the Telangana government's 'Look East' policy to expand Hyderabad toward eastern side of the city, the Hyderabad chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (Credai) is organising a two-day property show at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, Kothapet, from November 9.
Over 55 developers will showcase their projects at this Credai Hyderabad Property Show (East) 2019 which will primarily highlight real estate projects in the eastern side of the City of Pearls, including Uppal, LB Nagar, their surrounding areas and others.
Projects from other parts of the city including those from west will also be on display at the real estate exhibition which will conclude on November 10.
"Hyderabad is home to world class infrastructure and connectivity across the city. However, the city has mostly expanded towards western side thanks to the presence of IT sector.
It will be good for the city if the development and expansion happen all around. Otherwise, there will be more pressure on the western side," P Ramakrishna Rao, president, Credai Hyderabad, told the media here on Friday.
Appreciating the Telangana government for announcing 'Look East' policy, he said the move will help in developing the city on the eastern side, especially Uppal, LB Nagar, Keesara, Sagar Road, Vijayawada Road, Adibatla, etc.
"Already, there are some prominent firms like Genpact functioning from Uppal and Infosys and Raheja with the campuses in Pocharam. This area has metro connectivity from Nagole to Hitech City and proximity to the ORR.
The eastern side becomes the next best alternative in the city for development," he explained.
According to him, Credai Hyderabad has decided to organize the property show on the eastern side to focus on the existing and upcoming projects in the region, allowing an opportunity for buyers to purchase a property before the area sees a major spurt in development and price escalation.
The property show is expected to bring together realtors, building material manufacturers, consultants, financial institutions and banks. The exhibition will showcase over 5,000 property units suiting every requirement and budget.
"Hyderabad has been at the forefront of real estate growth both in terms of residential and commercial real estate over the last few years.
Thanks to favourable government initiatives, eastern part of the city will lead future development of the city," said V Rajashekar Reddy, General Secretary Credai Hyderabad.
Lower rentals and special incentives being announced by the government will act as incentives for attracting fresh investments into office complexes and malls coming up in the eastern part of the city. This will increase the demand for residential property in the region, Reddy added.
Maram Satish Kumar, Executive Committee Member of Credai Hyderabad, said that more than 20 new projects were launched in the eastern side of the city in recent times.
"The region saw 15 per cent jump in sales annually after metro rail project was launched," he added.
C Murali Mohan, K Rajeshwar, V Venu Vinod, N Jaideep Reddy, vice presidents, and Shivraj Thakur and K Rambabu, Joint Secretaries along with the Managing Committee members were present at the media conference.
