APGB net profit at Rs 231.18 crores
Hyderabad: For the year ending period March 31, 2019, the Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 231.18 crore (After making a provision of Rs 209 crore for pension payment).
The bank achieved a business of Rs 28,000 crore registering a zero per cent net NPA.
The bank reported a net worth of Rs 2209.77 crore (highest among all RRBs in India).
AVenkata Reddy, Chairman of the Bank said that the thrust areas of the Bank for the current FY2019-20 would be to achieve a business level of Rs 31,000 crore by March 2020 as also 40 per cent of CASA deposits out of total deposits during the year.
The Total Business of the Bank touched Rs 28,286 crore as with a quantum jump of Rs3,247 crore over the previous year registering YoY growth rate of 13 per cent.
