Hero launches Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure Plus 110 scooters

Hero has launched its Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure Plus 110 scooters today. Maestro Edge 125 has been offered in three variants viz., a carburetted drum brake variant, a carburetted disc brake variant and a fuel-injected variant whereas the Pleasure Plus scooter is available in two variants - a sheet metal variant and an alloy wheel variant.

Maestro Edge 125 was first displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo along with Hero's Duet 125 scooter which was later launched as Destini 125. The new Maestro shares its underpinnings with its sibling, the Destini 125 and so it gets the same 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine of Destini churning out 8.83bhp power and 10.2Nm torque output for the carburetted versions. The fuel-injected variant of the scooter delivers more power than the carburetted models with 9.2hp at 7000rpm and a maximum torque of 10.2Nm at 5000rpm.

The scooter features a sharp and sporty styling and gets an external fuel-filler cap, digital-analog instrument console with side stand indicator and service reminder, optional front disc brake, alloy wheels, USB charging point along with Hero's start-stop technology (i3S). Hero has priced the Maestro Edge 125 scooter at Rs.58,500 for the carburetted drum, Rs.60,000 for the carburetted disc and Rs.62,700 for the fuel-injected variants (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

Coming to the new Pleasure Plus 110, it gets both mechanical and external design-wise upgrades. The scooter has been completely redesigned with an all-new matte-silver trim headlight unit targetting the younger buyers. At the rear, it gets larger body-coloured panels that flow into a redesigned tail-light section. Mechanically, the scooter gets an updated 110cc engine delivering 8.1bhp and 8.7Nm of power and torque outputs. The new Pleasure has been priced at Rs.47,300 for the sheet metal wheel variant and Rs.49,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the alloy wheel variant.

Maestro Edge 125 will take on its rivals Honda Grazia and TVS Ntorq 125 while the new Pleasure Plus 110 will take on Honda Dio and Yamaha Fascino.
