Zero FIR filed on a woman in child abduction case in Renigunta, Tirupati

Tirupati: A zero FIR was filed by Renigunta police in a six month old child abduction case. A woman from Tadipatri of Anantapur district Swarna Latha has reached Renigunta to live with her parents after she got differences with her husband. As she got differences with her parents also she was reportedly staying on Renigunta railway station platform for the last one week with her six months child.

Observing this, a woman approached her with some kind words and offered food and new clothes to her. She even assured her a small job so that she can settle down in life. She asked Swarna Latha to wear new clothes and when she went away for that, she left the place with the child.

The victim was saying that Renigunta railway police have denied to file the case and asked her to go to Renigunta police. On the instructions of Urban SP A Ramesh Reddy, they filed zero FIR and investigating the case. Two teams were set up and sent to Tamil Nadu and Vijayawada after examining the video footage at railway station.
