YSRCP leader, actor Mohan Babu gets one year jail over cheque bounce case

Hyderabad: It's a shocking wave for the Manchu family that the Erramanzil court has announced one-year jail punishment to YSRCP leader, actor Mohan Babu over a cheque bounce case.

The court has also ordered the fine of Rs 41.75 lakh along with the imprisonment. In a cheque bounce case, the Tollywood director YVS Chowdary has approached the court in 2010.

The court has decided, Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures as A1, Manchu Mohan Babu as A2 in the case. In an issue of Rs 48 lakh cheque bounce, producer YVS Chowdary has filed a case in 2010.

YVS Chowdary has directed a film Saleem, with Vishnu Manchu in the lead role in 2009. For which as a producer Mohan Babu has given a cheque, which later on bounced in the bank.

On Tuesday the court has declared the judgment in the case. Mohan Babu or the Manchu family members have not yet reacted on the issue.
