YS Jagan reviews on Village Secretariats, gives a nod for recruitment of vacancies

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review of village and ward secretariats at his camp office inTadepalli on Wednesday. The CM conducted a comprehensive review on the issues of better performance in the secretariats, comprehensive supervision, key role of the secretariats in achieving the goals of sustainable development, filling up of vacancies in the secretariats, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, CM said that Village and Ward Secretariats have been established as a revolutionary change in administration. "We have established these with the aim of an effective delivery mechanism to the last level and such a system should work efficiently," CM said adding that there should be all kinds of supervision from staff attendance. He said that response should be conducted in village and ward secretariats from 3 pm to 5 pm and monitored at mandal level by government departments.

Stating that the previous recruitment process was conducted in a very transparent manner, the chief minister said that the recruitment process should be carried out effectively without any error. The officials told the CM that they are collecting details of vacancies from all government departments and opined that the facial recognition attendance should will be implemented from the state secretariat to the village level secretariat.

The Chief Minister ordered to connect all village secretariats with wired internet in as many as 2,909 village secretariats, which are currently running with wireless internet. The CM directed the officials to bring the Anganwadis also under the supervision of the secretariats.
