YS Jagan meets Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, approves transfer of Iron Ore to Kadapa Steel Plant

The transfer of Iron ore from NMDC to Kadapa has been approved, and the AP government will soon sign the MOU with NMDC. Union Petroleum, Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday. The meeting was attended by top oil company officials and state government officials. After discussing various aspects of the state, key decisions have been taken.

It is decided that the CSR funds should be paid to the oil companies in terms of resource revenues in the state. A high-level committee will be set up with central and state government officials to set up a petroleum complex in Kakinada. In the next five years, the AP will be investing in petroleum, natural gas and steel. The investment is expected to exceed Rs 2 lakh crore.

Earlier, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met with Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan and discussed various issues relating to the state.
