YS Jagan launches new houses at Jagananna Colony in Samarlakota, lashes Naidu and Pawan
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated mass housewarming celebrations in Samarlakota of Kakinada district. He inaugurated the Jagananna Colony on the Samarlakota-Prattipadu road and actively participated in the mass housewarming ceremony.
The Chief Minister entered the houses alongside the people and viewed the exhibition of home constructions in the area. He also took the opportunity to interact with the people and engaged in conversations and gathering their feedback.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has criticized former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of neglecting the welfare of the poor during his tenure. CM Jagan mentioned that even in Kuppam, Naidu's own constituency, the poor did not receive any land or housing. He highlighted that when the YSRCP government came into power, 20,000 houses were allocated in Kuppam.
CM Jagan also criticized Naidu's family members, including Lokesh (Naidu's son), Balakrishna (Naidu's brother-in-law), and his adopted son. He pointed out that Naidu's residence is in a neighbouring state and his adopted son's permanent address is in Hyderabad. CM Jagan claimed that Naidu's adopted son changes residences frequently, with one in the state, one at the national level, and one internationally. He expressed his disappointment with the lack of respect shown by Naidu's family towards the people and the state.
CM Jagan further accused Naidu and his party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), of being power-hungry and focused solely on looting the state. He criticized Pawan's visits to the state during election campaigns and referred to him as a businessman who sells his own party and cadre. CM Jagan also expressed his disappointment with actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, stating that he has no connection with the people or the state and only visits intermittently.
CM Jagan emphasized the commitment of his government to the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (BCs) and accused Naidu and Pawan Kalyan of hindering the government's efforts and conspiring against welfare of the people.
