YS Jagan govt to hold another survey on English medium education in public schools

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government has taken another crucial decision on the implementation of the English medium in public schools. The government has decided to take up the survey once again on the implementation of the English medium. In this backdrop, The government has given permission to the English Channel to make short films on reforms and other initiatives in the field of education and decided to conduct a survey along with short films under the comprehensive Training Abhiyan. It seems that a national channel has come forward to carry out this survey.

The government has conducted a survey on the implementation of the English medium in the past was around 96.17 per cent of parents across the state agreed to for English as a medium in the survey. They gave their consent to the government in writing. The government has sought feedback from parents over the medium of instruction.

The decision has been made by introducing English Medium across the state. Two GOs were also issued in this connection. However, the High Court dismissed his saying that the parents and students will decide on the medium of instruction in which they want to study. The government once again decided to hold a survey.
