World Bank team visits skill development centre

Vuyyuru: The representatives of the World Bank, Union Ministry of Rural Development and National Skill Development Corporation visited the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana OTSI centre being run at Madhuri Twin Towers on Katuri Road here on

Tuesday and interacted with the students who are undergoing training in various skills. The visiting team discussed various issues with the students including mode of training, the way the faculty is teaching them, and employment opportunities.

The World Bank expressed satisfaction over the training the students are receiving at the skill development centre after interacting with the students. Representatives of the World Bank Shannon Sinha, Noel Butcher, Syed Rasheed, Manish Mishra from Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Sobin Kuria Kose from National Skill Development Corporation, Prashanth from Self Employment Generation and Entrepreneur Development of AP (SEEDAP), Vijay Kumar from DRDA, Kiran director of OTSi, Uday Kiran, Sirish Kumar, Karan and Anil Kumar were present.
