Wife, paramour held for killing man in Nellore

Nellore: Vedayapalem Police have arrested a woman and her paramour on the charges of killing her husband. The accused have been identified as R Bhadramma and Cherukuru Sudhakar.

City DSP J Srinivasulu Reddy said on Friday that Suryanarayana and Bhadramma were from Narsannapet mandal in Srikakulam district and have been residing in Ummareddygunta in Kondayapalem gate in Nellore for the past two years. They are construction labourers. Bhadramma has been working with Sudhakar, a construction supervisor. Sudhakar developed an extra-marital relationship with Bhadramma. Suryanarayana warned his wife to behave well. He also informed about the issue to their relatives. But Bhadramma continued to maintain distance from her husband due to her affair. Then, Bhadramma and Sudhakar plotted to eliminate Suryanarayana. On Feb 12, Sudhakar had taken Suryanarayana to Kothur in the pretext of some work. . There he attacked Suryanarayana who was in an inebriated condition with a stone. Suryanarayana died and Sudhakar set his body on fire and fled away from the scene. Vedayapalem Police registered a case with Cr No 50/2020 u/s 302, 201, 113 IPC and started investigation. They found some clues and finally arrested the woman and her paramour on Friday. Vedayapalem CI TVV Subba Rao, SI B Lakshman and others were present.
