We will set up price stabilization fund with Rs.3,000 crore :Minister Mopidevi

Guntur: Minister for Agriculture Marketing Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao said that the government will set up price stabilization fund with Rs.3,000 crore very soon to keep up its election promise. He said, as a part of this programme, they will set up monitoring wings very soon.

Addressing media, in Guntur city on Wednesday, he said, when the prices of agriculture commodities will fall, the government will extend assistance from the fund. He said, the government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy committed for the welfare of farmers and added that if the fund is constituted when the price of chillis, cotton, turmeric will fall, the farmers will get some assistance. He reiterated that the government will eliminate corruption.

He alleged that irregularities in the state capital Amaravati construction works, the former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, spent Rs. 10,000per squarefree, but there is no quality in the construction of buildings. He criticized corruption rampant in the TDP government. He said the government will improve performance of the agriculture market yards in the state.
