Voter awareness programme organised in Ongole
Ongole: As part of the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation Programme (SVEEP), the Prakasam district nodal officer organised an awareness programme for the students at the PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences and QIS Pharmacy College in Ongole on Tuesday.
As part of the SVEEP programme, the nodal officer Dr B Ravi explained the students with the help of a power point presentation that every citizen who attains the age of 18 years should have their right to vote registered and utilise it in the elections without fail. He advised them to vote for the best candidate without being influenced for any reason.
At the programme held in PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences, the HoD of Information Technology A Seshagiri Rao, senior faculty Sravanthi, STEP office staff GBR Prasad, ANK Prasad, G Venkateswara Rao and B Venkateswara Rao also participated.
At QIS College of Pharmacy, the HoDs Dr Mm Prasad, Dr G Pichaiah, assistant professor Pavuluri Chandrasekhar and others also participated in the programme.
