Vijayawada: National Constitution Day celebrated at ALIET

Vijayawada: Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) in collaboration with NSS unit of the college celebrated National Constitution Day on Tuesday.

The management, staff and students participated in reading of the Preamble of the Constitution and sang 'Vandemataram.' An awareness rally focusing on the Fundamental Duties was taken out.

Movva Srinivasa Reddy, Head of the History department delivered a lecture on 'Growing challenges and remedies in realising the spirit of Indian Constitution.' Later, an elocution competition was conducted for the students. Rev Father Dr A Francis Xavier, Director, Dr O Mahesh, Principal, Dr V V Prabhakar Rao, HoD S&H, A Rajesh and others were present.
