VBCI new premises inaugurated

Rajamahendravaram: Vijaya Bharathi Chest Institute (VBCI) inaugurated its new premises near DVB Raju Comlex at Diwanchervu on the outskirts of the city, here on Sunday. GSL Medical College and GSL General Hospital chairman Dr Ganni Bhaskar Rao along with noted medical fraternity and elite of the city inaugurated the institute and its various wings.

Later, VBCI chief Dr Guduri Srinivas has said that latest medical facilities such as RICU, Bronco Scopy, Thonelo Scopy, CT surgery, x-ray room with advanced machinery, diagnostic room, laboratory etc are available in the institute along with round the clock service to the patients. The bed strength of the institute is 100, he added.

A cardiac unit with latest medical equipment and experienced doctors will also be tagged shortly. At present the institute was working at Tilak road in the city and now it was shifted to a palatial building with good ambience, he averred.

VBCI will provide quality medical aid to the patients with its experienced doctors as well as its advanced medical equipment, he added. Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaich Choudary, Rajamahendravaram Urban MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana, Rajanagaram MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh, YSRCP governing body member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi, YSRCP state youth wing president Jakkampudi Raja, leaders of other parties, Guduri Radhika, office manager Janakinadh and many others were present.
