Umbrellas distributed to vendors by Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi
Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP central governing board member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi underlined the need of non-governmental organisations (NGO's) service to the needy in society.
Distributing umbrellas to petty vendors under the aegis of Swarnandhra Seva Samsta (SSS) at Lions Tuition Centre at Housing Board Colony here on Friday along with SSS founder Dr Gubbala Rambabu, she said that the organisation is putting its endeavour for the wellbeing of the petty traders.
For many years SSS is serving the needy in society in various ways and received laurels from the people as well as from the government. Founder Dr Gubbala Rambabu's service in this regard cannot be forgotten, she patted. She asked the organisation to continue it services in future and assured to extend her help to it.
SSS founder Dr Gubbala Rambabu said that for many years the organisation is in forefront in social service and also running an orphanage and taking care of hapless people. With the cooperation of many personalities SSS is marching ahead, he averred.
The petty traders doing their business on movable carts and cycles are facing problems mainly in rainy season and to combat the problems, umbrellas were distributed to them, he said.
