Two new AI flight services from May 15 from Vizag to Mumbai
Visakhapatnam: With the request of the Andhra Pradesh Air Travellers Association (APATA), the Air India has announced to start new flights from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai and back from May 15.
APATA representatives met Captain Amitab Singh, Director Commercial and Board Member, Air India Limited in Mumbai along with Daggubati Purandeswari, Independent Director, Air India Limited recently and explained the need of the regular flight connectivity particularly in the late nights from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai.
The team from the APATA informed to the Air India about the need for new services to facilitate the international travellers to have access to the flights from Mumbai and Delhi to continue their travel to other countries. With the request of the APATA, the Air India has announced two new flight services, to be started from May 15.
The APATA thanked to Ashwani Lohani, Chairman and Managing Director, Air India Limited and Daggubati Purandeswari, for facilitating the start of new flights to Mumbai. On the occasion, APATA team including Dr K Kumar Raja, O Naresh Kumar, and D S Varma said that Mumbai is the financial capital of the country and the APATA expecting that the new flight services would facilitate trade and commerce between the two cities. They expressed their hope that the Air India would also announce Vizag – Delhi late night flight service shortly.
