TTD chief seeks report on SVIMS needs in Tirupati

Tirupati: TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy has asked the SVIMS Director cum Vice-Chancellor Dr B Vengamma to study the prevailing situation in the hospital and submit a comprehensive report stating the required equipment and works to be taken up. He made it clear that the State government has intended to take the hospital to a higher-level. As the number of cancer patients have been increasing, the Chairman told the Director to mention in detail the steps to be taken to provide best treatment to them. The Director was also told to take stringent action against anyone whoever shows negligence in providing patient care. Dr Vengamma has met TTD Chairman at his residence in Tadepalli on Monday.
