Tributes paid to Missile Man of India in Chinaganjam

Chinaganjam: To mark the birth anniversary of former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, a programme was organised by Bharat Nirman, a voluntary organisation headed by E Govindaswamy on Tuesday. The chief guest of the programme was Wings India Foundation director Ch Ramakrishna.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna said that Dr Abdul Kalam, the missile man of India was a wonderful human being and great leader of the country. He attained the highest position in the country with his knowledge and intelligence as the President of India.

Later, notebooks were distributed to poor students, fruits and food was given to disabled, widows, HIV and cancer patients. Foundation members G Balaji, Mallikarjun Rao, volunteers and others were present.
