Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said the government wants to bring several changes in revenue department with an aim to extend transparent services to the people.

The finance minister accompanied with the labour minister Gummanur Jayaram inaugurated the tahsildar office constructed at a cost of Rs 90 lakh and a library building constructed at a cost of Rs.25 lakh at Somappa circle in Yemmignoor in the district on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajendranath Reddy said revenue department would play a vital role in in the implementation of social welfare schemes being implemented by the government. He said government constructed the new building to provide transparent services to 1.70 lakh people of Yemmignoor while accusing the previous TDP government of rendering the revenue system completely 'paralysed'.

Listing the achievements of the YSRCP government in a short span, he said.25 lakh unemployed youth were provided with jobs, all eligible farmers would be paid Rs 15,000 under Rythu Bharosa October 15 and the government pay interest of Self-Help Groups.

Labour minister Jayram said the government was committed to develop of all villages across the state. He claimed that heavy rains in the state were result of YSRCP rule.

He added that the new government was giving priority to BCs and generated employment to 4.5 lakh youth. District collector G Veera Pandiyan said that as people having problems approach revenue office, the fully equipped revenue offices could redress their problems in a speedy and transparent manner.

Yemmignoor MLA Y Chenna Keshava Reddy said that the constituency was facing server drinking problems and asked the officials to solve the problem once for all by bringing water from Gajula Dinna Project (GDP). Revenue division officer Bala Ganesh, Yemmignoor tahsildar Venkateshwarulu, revenue employees and others participated.
